WCS has been responsible for some of the most advanced and successful racing sail boats including multiple race record holders and world champions from GP42’s such as Near Miss and Roma 2 to the Vendee Globe winning Open 60 Foncia of Michel Desjoyeaux and the Volvo 70’s Telefoncia Azul and Azzam.  In the Americas Cup WCS was recently involved with the Ben Ainslie Racing and previously had worked with Team Korea.

WCS continues to be active in sailing yacht structures from classic cruising to full offshore racing designs.  Developing a close co-operation with the yard, practical structural design solutions are developed while continued innovation realises both designer and client goals and aspirations in the most demanding of spatial environments.

It is this clear understanding that structures are to assist in the elevation and execution of larger project goals rather than being a means to themselves that has helped us establish effective and rewarding working relationships with a wide range of designers and builders.
